Infant Brain Imaging Study

Goals of this research:
The goal of this NIH-funded brain imaging study is to identify symptoms of autism sooner.
Who is eligible?
We are looking for families who have an infant (0 to 6 months of age) and at least one older full sibling diagnosed with autism.
What does participation involve?
Traveling to UNC for three in-person visits: (1) the first when the infant is 6-months old; (2) when the infant is 12-months old; (3) when the infant is 24-months old.
Behavioral and cognitive assessments at each visit (at no cost to the family) - with a summary of results.
A safe, non-invasive MRI brain scan during natural sleep (no anesthesia or sedation involved) - with a copy of the MRI for the family.
You will receive:
All travel costs to Chapel Hill, North Carolina will be covered by the study along with compensation of up to $350
